CAILE Events NYC ("CAILE," "we," "us," or "our") operates caileevents.com (the "Platform") — a ticketing and events platform for Latin nightlife experiences. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (encrypted). If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email associated with that account per Google's sharing permissions.

Ticket & Event Information

When you purchase a ticket, RSVP, or register for an event, we collect the details needed to fulfill that transaction: ticket type, event selected, quantity, and any guest information required for group or table bookings.

Payment Information

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. CAILE does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or full payment credentials on our servers — that information is handled directly by Stripe under their own security standards and privacy policy.

Photos & Media

If you attend a CAILE event, event photography or videography may be captured by CAILE's team. Where CailePix media features allow guest photo access or delivery, only media associated with your ticket/check-in may be made available to you.

Communications

We send transactional emails (ticket confirmations, receipts, password resets, event updates) via our email provider. If you opt into SMS updates, we will send text messages regarding your tickets or upcoming events through our SMS provider. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Device & Usage Information

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Platform, including IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, to help us maintain security and improve the Platform.

We use the information we collect to:

• Process ticket purchases and RSVPs
• Verify entry at events via QR code scanning
• Send transactional communications (confirmations, receipts, reminders, updates)
• Provide customer support
• Maintain platform security and prevent fraud
• Improve the Platform's functionality and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share information only as necessary to operate the Platform:

• Payment processing: Stripe
• Email delivery: our email service provider
• SMS delivery (where applicable): our SMS service provider
• Hosting & database infrastructure: our cloud backend provider
• With event venues or promoters, limited to the information necessary to verify entry and manage the event (e.g., guest name, ticket type)

• In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), subject to standard confidentiality protections

• You may update or correct your account information at any time by signing in
• You may opt out of promotional emails or SMS via the unsubscribe link/reply included in those messages — transactional messages related to a ticket you've purchased may still be sent
• You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us, subject to records we are required to retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18 (or the applicable legal drinking/event-entry age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
